Tapered Tarenna is a native evergreen shrub found in thickets and woodlands. In spring, small, white flowers grow on the entire plant, releasing a rich fragrance. Its opposite leaf arrangement and persistent stipules that are fused between the petioles are features commonly found in plants of the Family Rubiaceae.
