Blue Butterfly Bush
Rotheca myricoides ‘Ugandense’
Blue Butterfly Bush is an ornamental plant introduced from Uganda, Africa. Its flowers have an elegant and distinctive form: two pairs of light blue petals arranged like butterfly wings, with a blue-purple elongated petal below resembling a butterfly’s abdomen. Combined with slender stamens that look like antennae, the blooming flowers create a vivid impression of butterflies dancing among the foliage.
