Glassy Tiger is a common butterfly species in Hong Kong with wings in dark brown colour and white stripes. Its larval food plant is Ovate Tylophora which is a poisonous plant. We can distinguish their sexes by simply looking at their hindwings, which the males have a black pouch on them.
