Coral Hibiscus is an evergreen shrub native to East Africa. Its flowers have a unique appearance, with long pedicels each connecting to 5 red, feather-like petals that curl upward, while the staminal tube extend downward, resembling red lanterns hanging from the branches when in bloom.
