Climber Floscopa

Floscopa scandens

Climber Floscopa is a native emergent aquatic plant found in freshwater marshes, stream banks, and understory wetlands. Its lower stem creeps along the substratum while the upper stem erects above the water surface. The purple-blue flowers, featuring elongated filaments and styles, typically appear in terminal clusters. During its flowering period from July to November, visitors can witness a beautiful purple carpet of flowers in the park’s Life Zone.
