Large-leaved Flemingia
Flemingia macrophylla
Large-leaved Flemingia is a larval food plant for Common Sailer and can be found on open hillsides in the wild. Like most plants in the family Fabaceae, its flowers grow densely at leaf axils. During its flowering period from June to September, clusters of pink small flowers bloom, providing nectar for insects such as butterflies and bees. Additionally, Large-leaved Flemingia is also used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat fractures, sprains and bruises, as well as joint pain.
