The Regal Pond Cruisers are robust and possess a pair of big compound eyes and a black body with yellow markings. Their sense of territory is strong. They patrol around ponds frequently to drive off intruders and to search for food.

The flight pattern of the adult Regal Pond Cruisers is very impressive. They always fly around pond edge and rarely perch. Acting like a military aircraft, they make great effort in protecting their territory. As only a few individuals can exist within the same habitat, it needs more patience if you wish to spot them.

The Regal Pond Cruisers usually appear at large ponds. Pay attention when you walk along Succession Walk as they may appear at a single glance.
